Regional Jewish Overnight Camps
are many types of Jewish overnight camps available to you. No matter how you
affiliate, there is a Jewish camp where your child will have a great time, feel
a part of a community and love being Jewish. There are camps sponsored by
Jewish movements, such as Reform, Conservative, Orthodox and Reconstructionist.
There are non-denominational camps and pluralistic camps which focus on
providing experiences that build positive Jewish identity. There are Zionist camps that focus on building
connections with Israel. More recently,
the Foundation for Jewish Camp has had an instrumental role in creating specialty
camps which focus on sports, science and technology, farming and outdoor
adventures. There are also camps for kids
with disabilities. Below you will find an
alphabetical listing of some camps of local
interest attended by many families in our community. You can also search for some specialty camps located in the eastern part of the U.S. that may be of specific interest
to your child. To search the Foundation for Jewish Camp’s approved list of 155+
